Friends of Treehaus Audiolab

It turns out we can’t do it all… no matter how many Toshi Kurashima vacuum-tube making videos we watch. Below is a list of great companies making great stuff for great sounding music that we wholeheartedly recommend.

Imagine if a multibillion-dollar, 120-year-old cable company with nearly infinite resources decided to create the ultimate audio cables. A sound reproduction moon shot, with every ingredient and piece of test equipment available in the pursuit of best sound (except snake oil). We recommend Iconoclast for its profound performance, and are happy to have them as a room partner on the show circuit, our demo room, and at home.

edenSound produces vibration control components, made with pride in the Green Mountain State. Treehaus Audiolab features their brass Bearpaw footers on our field coil speakers. They provide the best available high-mass coupling diode between speaker and floor, and look great doing it.

Western Electric

Yes, that Western Electric. Believe the hype: their “new” 300B is that good. For our Treehaus Audiolab 300B amplifier, we benchmarked the top tier offerings from Europe and Asia, and found the new production WE300B to be the real deal. It’s one of the best 300B vacuum tube made today, and it was only fitting such quality found its way into our amplifiers. Are they better than the batch of tubes Sarah Jane Smith made second shift August 18, 1951 at Hawthorne Works? That’s a question we can’t yet answer…
